“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Recap: Dealing with Dysfunctional Relationships, Parents and Hoohahs

stevie-car

Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez are like the faucet of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”. One minute they’re hot, the next minute they’re cold. One minute they’re on, the other minute they’re off.

While the past few episodes have seen Joseline play a tough girl, she was all emotional and vulnerable in this particular episode as she practically went back to Stevie J begging for the D back in her life.

At first, Joseline was running her mouth to her booking agent, Dawn, who’s been helping Joseline stack paper for club appearances while Stevie waffles on putting out Joseline’s long overdue single.

Joseline told Dawn that she was tired of Stevie “stressing” her out and she longed to sever her relationship ties with the producer and keep it strictly business.

But when Stevie called Joseline later on to meet up, Joseline looked like a kicked dog as she slid into the seat next to him.

stevie-jose-car

Stevie even pulled out that contract that she was begging him for the last two episodes and Joseline didn’t even flinch. She was more interested in getting Stevie to commit to their relationship.

WHAT? Now the sideline hoe wants to be upgraded to wifey? This shit is madness.

But before you can say, “Que estás diciendo, puta?” Joseline and Stevie J have made their way to a bed to, in the words of Brandy, “put it down.”

joseline-stevie-be

I’m not sure if it’s accurate to say that Joseline is winning, but she’s getting the dick she wants at least. For now.

And as soon as Joseline gets Stevie back in her clutches, she sics him on his best friend Benzino.

If you’ll recall in the previous episode, Benzino’s ex-girlfriend Karlie was chirping about a sex tape she’d seen of Joseline masturbating that Benzino showed her. Or rather, the video showed Joseline playing with her “kooty kat” as she calls it.

He also told Karlie that he fucked Joseline.

Even when dealing with thieves, there’s an honor code that shouldn’t be broken. And for Benzino and Stevie J, a bro cannot sleep with another bro’s hoes.

So Stevie and Joseline set out to confront Benzino over the allegations.

benzino-garage

Benzino, as expected, denies that he distributed Joseline’s so-called sex tape and denies that he told Karlie that he slept with Joseline.

Not so fast, Mr. No-neck. Joseline whips out her iPhone and shows Stevie the Twitter DMs that Benzino sent her around 6 am as he was trying to get into her panties.

Guilty: Party of 1.

But Benzino doesn’t give in. He insists the DMs were platonic, even though Joseline felt they were sexual advances.

I’m inclined to believe Joseline because shortly after this episode aired, Lil’ Scrappy’s fiancee Erica Dixon blasted Benzino for his attempt at a DM love affair.

So yeah, platonic tweets my foot.

In the end, Stevie and Benzino part on bad terms and the two sever their “brotherhood.” I might be inclined to feel sorry for Benzino, but his troll face makes you want to root for his downfall. I won’t lie though, I enjoyed watching Benzino take that L from Joseline.

Momma Dee Spoils Scrappy’s Hopes of Happily Ever After

After the big brawl at Erica’s house, things aren’t going so well for Scrappy’s love life. His mother is buzzing around his ears like a vulture, urging him to drop Erica for someone who will love him better.

Scrappy holds firm on his commitment to Erica, but doesn’t necessarily check his mother in the way that Erica would like him to.

Case in point, Momma Dee comes over to visit Scrappy and calls Erica “a disrespectful bitch” repeatedly.

Later, when Scrappy tries to patch things up with Erica he struggles to break through her walls.

erica-dixon-mad

“I can’t accept the fact that you chose your mother over me,” she says.

Now see, Erica is doing the wrong thing. You cannot ask a man to choose between you and his mother. Well, you can, but that’s some evil shit to do. As a mother herself, Erica should know better than to ask a child to betray its mother.

Could Momma Dee be more respectful? Absolutely. Has Erica been aware of Momma Dee’s eccentricities from the beginning? Yep.

Either accept Momma Dee and find coping mechanisms, or leave Scrappy alone, and live and let go.

Asking a man to ditch his mother to honor you proves that your relationship is totally on the wrong track.

kmichelle-doctor

Doctor, My Hoohah Done Broke!

I’m convinced that K. Michelle is bored. How else to explain the painfully artificial set-up in which K. Michelle confesses to her gal pal Mimi that her “hoohah” is broken and needs mending? Apparently, her last sexual partner had a “big thang” and he rocked her boat so good that she can no longer climax without him.

In other words: Homeboy got her dickmatized.

K. Michelle ropes Mimi into going with her to visit her gynecologist and well, since Mimi has nothing better to do, she tags along.

Of course NOTHING is wrong with K. Michelle so once the examination is over, the doctor looks at her like, “WTF are you doing here?

kmichelle-piano

An episode of LHHA wouldn’t be complete without a rowdy fight from K. Michelle and episode 4 doesn’t disappoint as Rasheeda’s husband, Kirk, approaches K. Michelle about her assault of his wife.

K. Michelle is unapologetic and she gets her back up against the wall when Kirk tells her that violence toward his wife is unacceptable.

“Fuck your wife!,” K. Michelle screamed over and over again. “You and Rasheeda lesbian relationship, y’all can keep that!”

This bitch be asking for it. Funny as she may be, her conflict resolution skills are worse than a kindergartener’s. This will serve her well as she crosses over into “Love & Hip Hop New York.”

At this point, the only people talking to K. Michelle are Mimi and Ariane. And Ariane is a part-time cast mate so she barely even counts.

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Star Joseline Hernandez is Sorry for Using Gay Slurs

As you know or should know, Puerto Rican Princess and one of my all-time favorite people dead or alive, Joseline Hernandez, is every single thing. However, there is one aspect about her that I’m not too fond of: Her use of the slur “faggot” and calling someone gay as a pejorative.

In a recent interview with Vlad TV, the Queen of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta says her use of the terms stem from her environment.

Nonetheless, she’s realizing the error of her ways, explaining:

“That’s how we talk in Miami and I’m trying to work on that because actually my brother’s gay. And I’m gay, I like women. I don’t ever want the gay community thinking that I do that, being disgusted or hating the gays. That’s not even the case.”

Joseline went on to say, “It’s sad. We shouldn’t even be talking to each other like that.”

No, we shouldn’t, but speaking as gay, consider yourself forgiven, Joseline. At the very least, she’s recognizing her wrongs and is being proactive about fixing them.

I’m telling, y’all: When this girl masters English and finds herself an extra suffering of self-worth with a side of better representation, the world is hers.

You hear me? The world will be hers.

Relationships in “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” are fluid. And nothing exemplifies this fact more than Lil’ Scrappy and Erica Dixon’s on-again, off-again engagement.

While Momma Dee made the ring on Erica’s finger slip off, the secret text messages Scrappy was sending to other ladies made it stay off for good.

Erica tried to keep it secret for a little while, but she broke the news to her girls while they were out at the club celebrating Mimi’s new boyfriend, Nikko.

Yes, Mimi has finally shed her troublesome baby daddy, Stevie J, for good. At least for now.

But Stevie’s not worried about Mimi these days, since he’s curled up comfortably in bed, figuratively and literally, with Joseline Hernandez.

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Recap: Rasheeda and Kirk’s Bond Starts to Crack

$
0
0

If sideburns could frown, Rasheeda’s would be turned upside down. Last season, Kirk and Rasheeda’s bond was strong like the plastic strap on pregnant Kim Kardashian’s feet, however, things aren’t so rosy this season.

It’s no secret that Rasheeda’s music career has been stalled and struggling for over a decade. We all saw the sad state of affairs ourselves when nobody showed up for that tragic “Marry Me” video premiere party.

Kirk is looking to scrounge up a dollar wherever he can, so he’s thinking that Rasheeda should take Karlie up on her offer to jump on her K. Michelle diss track.

Because Benzino is such a wise and successful businessman, Kirk decides to consult with Zino on the wisdom of having Rasheeda jump on the track with Karlie. Having been burned by his attempts at fostering beef with Eminem, Benzino knows all too well the pitfalls of embarking on this modus operandi and he advises Kirk to avoid this treacherous path.

For once, Benzino’s right.

But all Kirk can see is dollars. For some reason, he thinks a K. Michelle diss track with Karlie Redd would take over iTunes, even though K. Michelle herself ain’t even been on Billboard like that and despite Karlie Redd having less talent in her dollar-store clip-on tracks than Kim Zolciak’s whole synthetic wig.

Three flops don’t add up to a hit record, Kirk.

Rasheeda, however, is hesitant to jump on the track with Karlie because she worries about her brand. Right, cause Rasheeda’s sideburns are internationally known.

She squabbles a bit with Kirk about his refusal to support her in making her e-commerce business a brick-and-mortar reality. But Kirk points out that would require rent, utilities, employees and insurance. You know, the things that real businesses have to face. Rasheeda doesn’t appreciate the reality check so she cuts Kirk with her eyes and the two part ways.

Yeah, it looks like the only married couple on LHHA is headed for the same ratchet rollercoaster that all of the other single hoodrats on the show are riding on.

DJ Traci Steele Stay Crying Over Spilt Milk

The DJ Traci babymama saga is more pathetic than it is dramatic. Traci is hung up on an eagle-faced man who ditched her more than 7 years ago and she still can’t stand to see this man with another woman. Is this woman gonna be 50 and still weeping over this man’s high-yellow peen?

Last episode, DJ Traci walked over to her babydaddy Baby Drew’s house with her $25,000 check in hand to invest in his sneaker boutique or something. But she got all fussy and musty when she realized that Baby Drew had company over. Namely, a “popcorn microwavable bitch.”

After blowing up in his apartment and melting down in her minivan in the parking lot, DJ Traci starts out this episode with a lunch date with Drew to “hash things out.”

Once again, Traci gets all misty-eyed and starts sobbing as she relives her pregnancy when Drew cheated on her while she was six months pregnant. He doesn’t really flinch and he just straight up asks her to cut another check to replace the one she tore up when they were in the parking lot.

The man may be a jerk, but at least he’s consistent.

Joseline Is Officially Signed

After screwing each other’s brains out, Joseline and Stevie emerge from another bedroom romp dressed in white bath robes toasting to success. Apparently, Joseline has been signed to a “major international label.” Man, these mofos on LHHA be stretching facts when it comes to the music biz. Remember when Karlie Redd was signed to Young Money? LOL!

Anyway, maybe this means we’ll finally get to hear some official music from Joseline. But while the record deal is worth celebrating, it’s not enough for Joseline. She wants more from her sugar bear. She wants love. Real love.

In the most tortured attempt at providing a definition of a man, Joseline tells Stevie that he’s not doing enough for her and loving her the way he should.

WTF? How did the baddest bitch become a softie? I thought Joseline was all about that money and her kooty kat? Now she wanna be all Romeo and Juliet with Master Splinter? Get outta here.

After he snuggles with Joseline, Stevie rolls into the studio to meet up with the tatted up Che Mack. Miss Ed is thirsting for some relevance and hit music so she’s eager to get back into Stevie’s good graces. But she’s a little bitter because she feels like their last arrangement was purely an attempt to make Joseline jealous and angry. Duh. Did you think you were the next Nicki Minaj or something?

As if to prove the point of her struggle life, the next time Stevie and Che meet, it’s at a bar. Where she’s working as the bar tender. Damn, homie.

Che is an eager beaver who screams at the top of her lungs that she “ready to worrrrrkkkkk!” To prove how willing she is to do what it takes, she points out that she lost 10 pounds and got braces. In fact, she’s even willing to work with Joseline, the self-described Puerto Rican Princess.

Unfortunately for her, Joseline ain’t got time for dat.

Che tries to introduce herself to Ms. Hernandez but Joseline acts like Che Mack doesn’t even exist. After tapping Joseline furiously on the shoulder several times, Joseline slowly turns around and grits on Che Mack before cooly saying, “I don’t talk to the help.”

HOT DAMN. First Josie’s throwing barbs at Mimi calling her a maid and now she’s calling Che “the help.” What did domestic workers ever do to Miss Joseline?

The Mystery of the Joseline Sex Tape

Even though Joseline TALKS about her kooty kat all the time, and even though she used to be a stripper, for some reason the existence of some sex tape is ruffling her feathers. If you’ve busted it wide open in the club for dirty one-dollar bills, why the hell would you be mad about a damn sex tape?

I guess Mona saw how far that sex tape thing took Kim Kardashian so she decided to get herself a piece of that pie by throwing this foolishness in the mix.

So Benzino goes to the studio to confront Karlie Redd about this Joseline sex tape that she claims he showed her. He insists he did no such thing, she refutes his denial and before you know it, the female gremlin is throwing things at Benzino and calling him a liar.

This might’ve been entertaining if I could be bothered to give a damn about a Karlie Redd or a Benzino.

Later, at the end of the episode, Karlie meets up with Stevie and Joseline to have a come to Jesus moment over this whole saga. While Joseline was ki-king with Karlie the last time we saw her, this time she’s back to hating her. As soon as Joseline eyeballs Karlie Redd she goes off on her “old” ass for having her name in her mouth.

The two attempt to engage in a discussion but nothing productive comes out of either bird’s mouths and before you know it, they’re trying to tussle.

Mona, please find a more meaningful role for Karlie Redd on this show or axe her character. This petty existence isn’t worth our precious time.

Mimi’s Got a New Man

When Mimi said she was done with Stevie J’s wandering wonderstick, I guess she really wasn’t playing. Mimi reached back to her past and dug up one of her old ninja turtles named Nikko so he could come and make her kitty purr.

While Nikko doesn’t have Stevie’s trademark rat face, he does lick his lips like his name is LL Cool J.

Frankly, the chemistry between Mimi and Nikko ain’t really there, but you can tell Nikko enjoys being a boy toy because when he meets up with Mimi and her gal pals at the club, he immediately offers to take off his shirt.

Does this negro think he’s Tyson Beckford?

Mimi sure knows how to pick ‘em: Vain, dumb and nothin’ but bum.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s K. Michelle Drops New Single “V.S.O.P.”

Shady queen and soulful brown liquor loving singer K. Michelle has released “V.S.O.P.” — the first single off her forthcoming debut album Rebellious Soul. The track was produced by Pop & Oak and reportedly samples Debra Laws’ 1981 hit “Very Special.”

Those of you into Teddy Pendergrass and old man drinks ought to know that the track’s name is a nod to Very Special Old Pale cognac. I mean, comparing your love to a good grade of booze sounds beautiful to me.

So clearly I love it, and pray to God that Atlantic Records, who signed K. Michelle, doesn’t end up adding a rapper to the song for the sake of trying to secure more spins on the radio.

Believe it or not, R&B has been doing quite well this year. Mario has a hot new single; The-Dream is coming back strong; Fantasia’s new music is up to par; Chrisette Michele is out here representing for the folks with actually talent; Tamar Braxton is releasing nice songs (albeit songs that song like reworked Keyshia Cole tracks). And hell, even Chris Brown took a break from techno to release the lovely “Fine China.”

Applaud R&B, y’all. The fans needed this. As for Ms. Memphis, you can look forward to K. Michelle’s Rebellious Soul being released on July 20. I plan to buy it and a bottle of her K’s good friend, Mr. Jack Daniels.

Before surrounding herself around a bunch of butt naked women (familiar territory for the former pimp), “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Momma Dee stopped by Detroit’s 107.5′s to talk about the recent happenings on the greatest show on Earth — particularly her ongoing rift with her Erica Dixon.

Momma Dee swears that Erica has been disrespecting her for years and says don’t count on a wedding between her son and the mother of her grand baby. And yeah, she makes a bunch of George of the Jungle type references about magic kingdoms, bat caves and forests.

Lil Scrappy’s ratchet mama also took shots at Twitter users popping off at the keyboard, and revealed that she’s got herself a special friend. No, not Shay. This perso is younger, is a man and hails from Detroit (his name is Detroit too y’all… SMH).

Momma Dee loves his spirit, ya heard me? After watching her interview below, make sure send your mama a “Thank you for not being crazy” text.

LHHATL RECAP: Mimi Bites Back at K. Michelle and Ariane Over Gay Rumors

In an effort to support her new man, Nikko, Mimi is cast as a video girl for his wack-ass single “NY 2 LA.” Wait a minute, so Mimi is cool with being someone’s visual prop for a music video but she looks down on Joseline? Hypocrisy, party of one.

Because Mimi loves to spread the wealth, she invites her girls K. Michelle and Ariane over to the video shoot so they can gossip and chit chat. But when K. and Ariane realize that Nikko’s roommate and co-star for the video is Johnny Crome, things get tense. Word on the street is that he’s gay. Mimi says she hasn’t seen anything to make her question his sexuality but K. Michelle and Ariane are insistent.

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Recap: Mimi Bites Back at K. Michelle and Ariane Over Gay Rumors

mimi-yell

This episode of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” was all about chin checking and putting tricks in their place. Traci Steele got her baby daddy’s hoe parade together, Lil’ Scrappy let his mama know the real deal and Joseline had to let Stevie J know that Che Mack better stay in the back of the bus.

But the biggest reality check of them all came from Mimi when she let her gal pals K. Michelle and Ariane have it after they called her man’s roommate gay.

kmichelle-gay-johnny

Among the many things wrong with K. Michelle’s brain is her obsession with calling every man she disagrees with gay.

No matter how many times she claims to be a fan of the “gays,” the pattern of using homosexuality as an emasculating insult is consistent. She did it to Kirk, calling him a “lesbian” and she does it again by calling Mimi’s boyfriend’s roommate, Johnny Crome, a gay downlow man. If you use gay as an insult consistently are you really okay with the gays?

ariane-gay-johnny

Surprisingly, Ariane AGREES with K. Michelle’s accusation that Johnny is gay. But Mimi defends Johnny and says she’s only seen Johnny with “bad-ass bitches.”

We as the viewers, have no real evidence to make us lean one way or the other. But hold up wait a minute. As K. Michelle is yapping her mouth about Johnny’s sexuality, he creeps in talking about he heard her “chit chatting.” R’uh oh.

johnny-k

Shortly after, Johnny confronts K. Michelle about her whisper campaign against him and K. Michelle, surprisingly, offers to drop the matter. But Johnny presses her on it and Mimi’s boyfriend Nikko jumps in and eventually kicks K. Michelle out.

Ariane walks K. Michelle out but she returns later and gets into an argument with Nikko over he and Johnny’s tag-team confrontation of K.

mimi-yell

That’s when World War III breaks loose and Mimi unleashes her incredible butch side. The bass enters her voice something serious and she starts YELLING at Ariane. Her ride or die chick.

k-ariane-walkout

Needless to say Ariane and K. Michelle are both stunned at Mimi’s betrayal and the two walk away from the video shoot arm in arm. Nikko and Johnny console Mimi and revel in their success. They got what they wanted by having Mimi turn against her friends.

And y’all thought Stevie J was manipulative? Watch out for this ninja turtle.

rasheeda-pregnant

Rasheeda Breaks the Pregnancy News to Kirk

Remember last season of LHHA how Kirk was all on Rasheeda to get her uterus ready for another fetus? Yeah, apparently a lot can change in 365 days.

Kirk has apparently been going through legal woes with his eldest son and financial woes with his brother’s health. Combined with the sad state of Rasheeda’s music career, and you have a recipe for an empty bank account and massive frustration.

Last episode, Rasheeda went to the doctor’s and confirmed that she was pregnant, so Rasheeda decides to break the news gently by leaving fertilized self down on a cozy rug by the fireplace. Kirk sits and the two start talking about their issues and then Rasheeda drops the bomb: She’s pregnant.

rasheeda-pregnant2

The look on Kirk’s face was what you’d expect his face to look like if he saw Da Brat wearing a floor-length evening gown in stiletto pumps: Confused, disturbed and baffled.

kirk-confuse

Rasheeda immediately noticed his less than enthusiastic reaction and promptly reminded Kirk that HE was the one who pushed her to put her family first.

That, he says, was then. Besides, she told him she wasn’t ready so he assumed she was taking all of the necessary precautions (i.e. the pill) to prevent pregnancy. Well, he thought wrong.

Yo, how many men are gonna get caught out there with the “I thought you were on the pill” trick? Fellas, if you’re looking to prevent pregnancy wrap it up. Every.damn.time. Y’all gon’ learn out here in these streets.

It’ll be tough to watch how this plays out, but the formerly happily married couple parts ways with Rasheeda saying she’ll take care of the baby by herself if she has to. Ouch.

momma-dee-eoe

Lil’ Scrappy Tells Momma Dee to Scram

For all of Momma Dee’s talk about her role on the throne and managing the crown for her son, the so-called Prince of the South, she sure does seem to find herself outside of the castle walls quite often these days.

In her continued desperation to reunite Shay and Scrappy, Momma Dee invites Scrappy over to so he can rub elbows (well, probably more than elbows…) with Shay and toast to the end of his engagement with Erica Dixon. Momma Dee even went ahead and got him an EOE (End of Engagement) cake. I suppose we should be grateful or the abbreviated acronym because if Momma Dee had to explain to the Salvadorean immigrant working at the bakery about how engagement should be spelled, we’d witness a massacre of the English language right before our eyes.

While Scrappy has played the doting son for the most part, this time he’s not having it.

scrappy-confused

He tells Momma Dee to but out of his life and he lets her know that he finds her celebration of his break-up to be distasteful.

Oh snap, is Scrappy finally manning up?

Momma Dee doesn’t take too kindly to the insubordination but she knows who’s buttering her bread so she tells Scrappy that she loves him but won’t be there to catch him if he falls. No worries, as long as she FedExes her poodle wig to act a cushion for his fall, he should do just fine.

scrappy-dad

Scrappy later meets up with his pops and his dad tells him straight up: Your mama is a problem in your life.

Who is this sensible, normal man who sounds like he has a 9-to-5 job with good health insurance and how the hell did he ever end up in bed with a female pimp who can’t spell the word “bitch”? In that order.

che-mack-couch

Stevie J Brings Che Mack Into His Sister Wives’ Circle

Last time we saw Che Mack, her graffiti-covered ass was hollering at Stevie J and Joseline on full blast while at the bar she works at.

Joseline shaded the hell out of Che and Stevie left her ass out to dry while she devolved into a turrets-inspired meltdown.

Fast forward to this episode and now we see that Stevie’s had a change of heart. Che apparently had her home broken into so she called Stevie up and he brought her a TV to comfort her and replace what was stolen.

che-mack-stevie

Nevermind that Che’s home look completely undisturbed. Just nod your head and go along with the wholly implausible plot twists. If you wanted logical storylines, you wouldn’t be here in the first place.

So Stevie, in complete pimp mode, essentially invites Che Mack into the fold. Or his bus. Or whatever analogy he’s using for his circle of hoes, which includes Mimi and Joseline.

Che Mack readily agrees to be the quarterback. Homegirl is moving way too damn fast, cause Joseline Hernandez is bout to run up the middle and knock her ass dead if she so much as breathes in her general direction.

Joseline is in love with Stevie and she ain’t havin’ no competition mess with her boo thang.

Besides, Che Mack is a damn fool for believing Stevie’s gonna do something for her music career. Joseline been rollin’ with that fool for how long and she still ain’t put out not a damn iTunes single. C’mon. Even Rich Dollaz moves faster than that.

babey-drew-audition

Traci Steele Is Tired of the Tricks

DJ Traci Steele is still entertaining this whole sneaker boutique thing like it’s a legit business. In reality, this whole thing is clearly a front to serve as a storyline for her on the show. Think about it: If she didn’t have this store to run with her ex, would she be spending all of this time with him on camera? Of course not.

The contrived nature of this wouldn’t be so bad if it were actually somewhat fun. Predictably, Babey Drew selects a bunch of “groupies” for his first round of interviews. His eyes twinkle as he asks the girls about their tramp stamps and flatters them with overt compliments. Traci rolls her eyes, sighs with exasperation and plays the part of a flustered wife. Too bad she doesn’t have the ring to show for all of this wasted energy.

babey-drew-audition2

As you can imagine, after the interviews wrap up, Traci tries to rap her baby daddy’s knuckles for once again bringing groupies into her life. But the groupies, who are standing right there as she insults them, chirp back and ask if the two of them are in a relationship.

In the blink of an eye, Traci slipped her shoes off and was ready to pounce on the groupies like a lioness on a pack of zebras. Needless to say, those “video vixens” got to running like their name was Speedy Gonzalez.

At this point, it really doesn’t make sense that Traci gets mad over her ex chasing women. He did it while they were together, heck, even while she was pregnant. So why does she act surprised every time a hoe shows up when he’s around? And furthermore, why is mad at them instead of him?

If Mona Scott-Young hopes to endear us to Traci in any way, she’s got to get her off of this dead-end storyline. Traci just looks like a crazy fool and Babey Drew is no Stevie J. So cut it out, everybody.

Hot Mess Dot Com: Nikko & Johnny Crome’s “NY 2 L.A.” Video (Starring Mimi Faust)

On this week’s episode of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” we all watched as Mimi Faust made a damn fool of herself her first music video debut alongside her boyfriend Nikko and his rapper friend Johnny Crome.

Though Mimi and Nikko are no longer together (SPOILER ALERT!) following the big blowout fight when K. Michelle accused Johnny and Nikko of being “gay” together — “You have a roommate in Atlanta. Rent is not that high boo boo, in Atlanta, this is not New York!” — Nikko still released the hot mess of a video via his website, but not before clearing up a few things:

One:

“First and foremost I want to say that I consider myself an artist. Im not just another rapper or MC. I’m a true artist who loves and respects the artform. My musical tastes range from Biggie to The Beatles. My goal is to work as hard as possible and leave a lasting mark on the spectrum of music and popular culture. However, I know that I will be linked to this video, era, and Love And Hip Hop Atlanta for better or worse. This is the first video that will actually expose me to a broader demographic. And it just so happens to appear on a key episode of Love And Hip Hop Atlanta season 2.”

Two:

“I want to focus solely on the music and the artform but lets briefly address the elephant in the room. K. Michelle accused me of being gay at the filming of this video and thats simply not true. I want to let it be known that I am not a hater or gay basher, and I will never spread that hate or negativity. I have some gay friends and a gay relative. And I will always respect and have love for them.”

And last, but not least:

“Now about this video, first I want to thank Mimi Faust for being in our video. Her presence is what brought the VH1 crew out and gave it a platform. Her kindness and generosity is overwhelming. She gets alot of flack for various reasons but after getting to know her I can testify that she is a very good woman and she deserves nothing but the best. Had a great time filming with her and I just want to say Thank You.

“As far as this video is concerned it kinda speaks for itself. “NY 2 LA” is a fun club/party record and thats what we wanted to display in the video. It was fun and we had a great time filming it. Payne Lindsey and his crew SIGNAL POINT STUDIOS are amazing! Before its all said and done they will be legends in their respective fields. Lets forget about the drama and experience this dope lil video. This is just the beginning, sky is the limit.”

Friends? How many of these ratchet ATL chicks have them? There’s a thin line between friend and foe in these streets.

K. Michelle, Ariane and Mimi have been as thick as thieves for some time, but it appears that their friendship is at a crossroads now that K. Michelle has decided that Johnny Crome and Nikko, Mimi’s boyfriend, are gay.

The blow-up on Nikko’s video set wasn’t entirely K’s fault, but she takes things up a notch by going on the radio and blabbing about how she believes Nikko is a downlow homosexual. Let’s just say Mimi catches wind of this interview and isn’t too pleased to hear K. Michelle’s inflammatory opinions.

Things take a turn for the worse when Mimi and K. Michelle confront each other backstage after her show. Let’s just say that someone ends up smelling like roses and that’s not a metaphor for things ending well.

Besides the Mimi/K. Michelle drama, Joseline and Stevie continue to clash over Che Mack and DJ Traci Steele gets the upper hand on her baby daddy Babey Drew for a split second.

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Recap: Mimi Confronts K. Michelle Over Nikko Incident

mimi-mad

It used to be that hell had no fury like Ms. Joseline, but in recent episodes, Mimi Faust and her inner She-Hulk have been running amuck.

Mimi and Ariane catch up at the beginning of the episode to try and piece together what the hell went wrong the last time they were all together at Nikko’s video shoot.

Even though Mimi blew up on Ariane, she believes that K. Michelle is to blame for the whole mess because she started the gossiping and whispering about Johnny Crome’s alleged homosexuality.

WATCH: Johnny Crome & Nikko’s “NY 2 L.A.” Music Video (featuring Mimi Fast)

Ariane really tries hard to play both sides here, as she fully believes and agrees with K. Michelle’s assertion that Johnny is gay, but she also wants to support Mimi and pretend like she’s not picking sides.

In reality, I just wish she’d pick a new Asian lady to rob wigs from, cause Ariane’s Sue Liu Chinese buffet wig is not the business.

ariane-bad-wig

Despite Mimi expressing her outrage and anger toward K. Michelle, Ariane STILL invites her to New York to watch K. Michelle’s show at B.B. Kings.

Ariane pretends like she only wants Mimi and K. Michelle to make peace, but Ariane knows that K. Michelle is like a suicide bomber. She’s more liable to blow herself and everybody else up before she says, “I’m sorry” for any damn thing.

ariane-mimi-limo

Things really get turnt up when Mimi plays Ariane an interview that K. Michelle did calling her boo thang Nikko a downlow homosexual. You know what that means, right? It’s. About. To go. Down!

So after K. Michelle performs her set in her finest lacefront wig, she heads backstage to catch up with Mimi and Ariane.

ariane-mimi-k

I don’t know if I just haven’t been paying attention but Mimi and Ariane TOWER over K. Michelle. I mean, it looks like Gargamel’s sisters towering over Smurfette.

Mimi tries to have a conversation with K. Michelle about what went wrong at the video shoot but K. isn’t really interested in the conversation so she blows her off and again insists that her man is gay. That’s when Mimi fires back that that’s why she can’t keep a man.

That set something off in K. Michelle as she snapped her neck around and smacked Mimi with the bouquet of roses that Ariane delivered to her.

kmichelle-smacks-mimi

Grand opening, grand closing.

After K. Michelle stormed off and ditched them bitches, Mimi and Ariane got into this very bizarre face-to-face argument where they had like 2 cm between them. They look like an aggressive and femme lesbian couple in a heated argument. They f*cking?

Joseline No Quiere Che

There are two things that Joseline wants in this world: A hit single and her Steebie. Right now, Che Mack is getting in her way of both of those things.

These two have never gotten off on the right foot. Last time they met, Joseline called Ms. Tattoo “the help” and Che hollered like a cow giving birth.

Stevie really wants to make Che his third sister wife though, so he convinces Che to try and smooth things over with his bottom bitch Joseline.

But Ms. Joseline is NOT interested sharing her Steebie so she gives Che the cold shoulder at every turn.

Che tries flattery but gets rebuffed.

“Bitch you will die, be born again, die again and be born again before I do a song with you bitch.” — Joseline

She even tries to shrug off Joseline’s sour attitude. But when Che says, “Tic tac toe” to Joseline, she gets assaulted by the Puerto Rican Princess.

Damn. Maybe she’s more of a Tetris girl?

Friends in All the Wrong Places

Somehow, Shay and Erica Dixon seem destined to cross paths. DJ Traci Steele invites Shay to a fashion event in which Scrappy’s baby mama is walking the runway. Nevermind that Erica, despite being a very lovely woman, is few people’s idea of a runway-fit model.

Traci tries to get Shay and Erica to make amends but Erica just pretends as if that female Muppet doesn’t exist.

This whole relationship between Shay and Traci doesn’t make sense. Doesn’t Traci hate her baby daddy because he can’t stop messing with hoes and homewreckers? Isn’t Shay prime example number one of both?

benzino-kirk

Speaking of strange bedfellows, since Stevie has axed Benzino from his life, it means we’re now forced to sit through Benzino attempting to bond with Rasheeda’s husband Kirk.

But Kirk’s life is depressing as hell so even though Benzino has the drank pouring and the strippers twirlin’ on the pole, it still feels like it’s the end of the world as we know it.

Benzino, just do Kirk and us all a favor and leave the dang cast of LHHATL.

Honorable Mention Moments from the Editor

WTF?!?: Momma Dee trying to mack and get her cougar on with the “dog whisperer” guy. Scary.

Really?: Kirk blaming Rasheeda for getting pregnant, as if she did it all by herself — “I pretty much feel like it’s spiteful and you did it on purpose.” Wait, what?

LOL!: Karlie Redd acting like she’s an international superstar — “They brought me to Utah … I’m in Utah for a party. I’m everywhere!” Girl, please.

LMAO!: Scrappy telling Momma Dee she is crazy, and to stay out of his damn business. Or in his words, “You is crazy … leave me the hell alone!” Classic.

SMDH…: DJ Babey Drew (aka DJ Dumbass) sending his “con artist business partner” $50,000 with NO signed contract, simply a verbal agreement. So basically, the $50K he and Traci put up for that shoe store has been flushed down the toilet, and Master Splinter is cutting bonus checks for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as we speak.

benzino-smashed

If you were one of the 20,000 or so people who raced to the stores in 2003 for Benzino‘s debut album, you’re in luck, because the high-yellow smurf with no neck is officially back in the music biz, baby!

Ripping a page out of Ray J and Lil’ Kim’s playbook of desperation, Benzino decided to spin his beef with his former BFF Stevie J and his boo thang Ms. Joseline Hernandez into a diss track and music video featuring a look-a-like Joseline.

The auto-tuned pile of garbage doesn’t really qualify as music to my ears, but hey, I said the same thing about Future and y’all done made that mofo and his computer-assisted falsetto rich as all hell.

While Benzino flat-out denied hooking up with Joseline on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” the chorus of his new song has him boasting about his conquest.

She says she want to get to know me / Even though she smashed the homie / She wanted to do it like some animals / I tried to tell her to keep it low-key

Yeah, it’s hard to believe that Joseline would ever consider crawling into Benzino’s bed. Not because she’s some kind of loyal, virtuous woman, but because she’d have to be desperate, drunk and/or out of her mind to bump and grind with this chicken nugget-shaped fool.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Che Mack and Mimi Faust Make Beautiful Music

Hello, my new shit. I don’t know what to make of Che Mack. On one end, she seems absolutely clueless and kind of horrible. She gives, “What if Keyshia Cole didn’t get saved…by Interscope?” vibes, and I try not to talk about her too badly for that reason. I just won’t feel comfortable until I receive confirmation that she didn’t leave some group home for struggle girls a few weeks before she joined Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta as a sidepiece character.

I will say that when I read that Che Mack had a diss record aimed at Joseline Hernandez, I was ready to hate it to the core. If you don’t know, I love the Puerto Rican Princess. Yet, here I am, ready to sing this song’s praises. It’s not horrible and considering the source I don’t know how you can call that anything other than a success.

TAKE A LISTEN HERE:

How incredibly genius of the track’s producer to take audio from the greatest show on Earth and use it for a song? Why hasn’t anyone else thought of that before? Is it too late for me to do this for my mixtape, Suck A Dick, Sallie Mae? If not, I’ll be using it on my second mixtape, too, tentatively titled, Deep My Throat, Discover Student Loans (Ya Bitch).

I don’t even cut for monologue Mimi like that, but dammit if I didn’t start twirking in my seat the second I heard, “Slut bitch. Slut ass bitch! Slut ass bitch! Slut ass bitch!” I wish I had a extra long weave ponytail so I could swing my head to that hook. I tried yesterday with my taper, and ugh, it’s just not the same.

Mimi carries the song, but Che Mack isn’t completely awful. Like, she could probably have a nice little regional rap career if she sticks to songs along the lines of this and maybe gems such as “Shake Dem Dreads” and all the songs Diamond from Crime Mob thinks she’s too good to do now.

Why hasn’t anyone sent me the mp3 of this yet? I’m ready to be on some New York sidewalk fighting the urge to go full hands on knees after hearing “SLUT ASS BITCH! SLUT ASS BITCH!”

Now, in tribute to Mimi Faust and her favorite word, I’m going to write the rest of this review using the word bitch as much as possible.

Bitch, listen. Bitch. This song is it, bitch. Nah, bitch, she can’t really rap, but who gives a fuck nowadays, bitch? That beat is catchy, bitch. Yasss, bitch. This is perfect for my bird self, bitch. Bitch, I hope they play this in the club. Bitch, don’t act like this shit ain’t catchy.

Alright, I’m done, bitches. Get into it. If you don’t, bitch, don’t tell me about it.

P.S. Joseline, I love you, but you might want to watch it trying to sucker punch Che Mack. Yeah, you lift all of the weights at least six days a week, but Che Mack looks like she fights as if she has nothing to lose. She will go for the face and try to deflate your right breast implant. Be careful.

mimi-nikko

Mimi’s new boyfriend Nikko is rubbing many of her friends the wrong way. How long can Mimi and Nikko keep the love going in their relationship before it all falls down?

After last episode when Mimi barked in Ariane’s face with less than 2 cm between them, I thought Ariane might have decided Mimi was more trouble than she was worth. Instead, episode 8 opens with the two ladies seated at the table talking about the state of their friendship.

If someone got so close to my mouth that they could reach down my throat and snatch my half-digested pop tart from my bowels, I wouldn’t dare engage that person ever again. But hey, that’s just me.

mimi-ariane-argue

We ain’t friends if you gon’ bow wow wow on me for no good reason. Ol’ pitbull ass Mimi.

But yeah, Mimi sits Ariane down and starts interrogating her about whose side is she REALLY ON? Her’s or K. Michelle’s? Why does Mimi sound like a pimp? Does she own Ariane’s kutty kat?

Ariane says with her mouth “I know where my loyalty is,” but her eyes say, “Bitch, you crazy.”

The moment of truth comes when Mimi asks Ariane how she really feels about her relationship with Nikko. Ariane acts like she’s pulling no punches but you can tell she’s doing her best not to blurt out, “I can’t stand that asshole!”

So Ariane instead settles for saying that she feels Nikko is “inauthentic.” Right. Like he’s a Canal Street Chanel bag.

Mimi grimaces and nods her head as she mulls on her so-called friend’s assessment of her new boo thang.

priestess-fantasia-lookalike

Later in the episode, Mimi’s crazy ass goes and sees a psychic who looks like she could be Fantasia’s birth mother. Grandma Barrino tells her that the Nikko situation is not productive and will lead to nowhere. Damn, Mona. Did you have to bury Nikko 6-feet-under that fast?

After the psychic trashes Nikko, Mimi asks what the future holds for her friendship with K. Michelle. The psychic says that K doesn’t care for her in her heart, although she acts like she does. Maybe the priestess is an undercover Keyshia Cole fan and that’s why she’s shading the hell outta K.

nikko-teeth

Bringing everything full circle, we find Mimi and Nikko hanging out on the couch in her apartment as she explains her idea for her “Made” t-shirts. Playing off of Joseline’s name calling, Mimi has decided to turn the shade into a clothing line. She better cut Joseline a royalty check.

Nikko starts talking reckless, talking bout how he “coached” Mimi to succeed and how she’s riding on his train. The phrasing sends Mimi straight back to reality and she proceeds to check Nikko and his two ginormous Bug Bunny teeth real quick. How you gonna come on Mimi’s reality show and talk about you put her on?

Joseline and Stevie Make Up to Break Up

It seems like in season 2 that Joseline and Stevie are in a committed relationship because homeboy stay by her side at photo shoots, nail appointments and oil changes. Joseline is feeling like she got herself a boyfriend and things but little does she know, Stevie J is up to usual ratty ways.

While Sleaze-o has been promising Joseline the moon and the stars, he’s also been scooping up discount Vizio TVs to impress Che Mack. To be fair though, Stevie HAS been somewhat honest about his communications with Che and he did try to broker a friendship between the two so that he can spend time with both of them without all of the vitriol and jealousy.

After spurning Che twice, Stevie convinces Joseline that she was unnecessarily harsh toward his new protegee and in a moment maturity and clarity, Joseline concedes that she unfairly took out her frustrations with Stevie on Che.

joseline-apologize

Next thing you know, the three of them are sitting at a restaurant and pow-wowing about the status of their “relationship.” While Che wants to play innocent, she quickly and conveniently brings up the fact that Stevie bought her a TV. This whole stunt was so scripted that I could’ve sworn I saw Mona’s messy ass holding a cue card during this scene.

che-mack-fluster

Of course once Che drops that bomb, Joseline gets furious and fired up about Stevie’s betrayal. She gets her box braids together and walks out on Stevie and Che announcing that she has “things to do.”

Furious with Stevie for his latest creep episode, Joseline consults with her booking agent/BFF Dawn to whine about Stevie and his conniving ways. She acts like this is her first-time in the rodeo. Dawn is all too eager to throw Stevie under the bus so she can continue stacking those booking checks and before you know it, Joseline is gassed up enough to once again proclaim that she’s done working with Stevie once and for all.

stevie-joseline-talk

Joseline books a lunch date with Stevie to tell him this in person and being the pimp that he is, Stevie laughs in her face eggs her on. He even rips up her contract and throws it in her face while insulting her in the parking lot as she walks away.

“Your ass is fake. Your titties is fake,” he snarls. “You’re signed for life. Bye.”

joseline-middle-finger

But you ain’t have a problem with the silicone Barbie all this time so how you gon’ act like it’s a problem now, Sleaze-o?

Don’t feel sorry for these two. They’ll be back together and cuddled up in an episode or two again.

erica-traci

Shay and Erica Sharing the Scraps

For some reason, Shay is seeking relationship advice from the deranged and delusional DJ Traci Steele. Yeah, the same Traci who is so hung up on her ex that she handed that high-yellow fool $25,000, no questions asked, for a damn sneaker business.

Because Mona has to try to shoehorn Traci into the rest of the cast’s storyline somehow, she books a playdate with Erica and her kids so they two can talk about…Shay?

Erica rightly calls Traci out about hanging out with “popcorn hoes,” since she’s been chillin’ with Shay, and Traci doesn’t ever really explain herself. If the women who hang out with Babey Drew are so trifling, how the hell can she rock with Shay who’s been screwing her so-called friend’s fiance?

H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E. And in that order.

After being spurned by Lil’ Scrappy so far this season, Shay claims victory as we learn that Scrappy is laid up in her bed getting a sensual massage from her. Guess who’s bizzack, biznaye?

shay-scrappy-massage

So all of that flexin’ that Scrappy was doin’ talkin’ bout Momma Dee is tryin’ to mess up his situation with Erica and here he is back with Shay.

After another screw session, Shay cuts some fruit and calls Scrappy over for a hear-to-heart about the fact that he asked Erica to marry him only days after rolling around the hay with her, Ms. Shay.

Damn, woman. How many times are we gonna go over this? You are a rebound chick. A warm body. A good piece of therapy snatch.

Erica is the one with the keys to his heart. You know he’s gonna tell you this and you’re gonna get mad, so why run through the motions again?

Well, that’s exactly what happens but instead of Shay taking the licks from Scrappy, she bites back and puts Scrappy out of her house.

shay-scrappy-kickout

That’s right, Shay. Get your Mary J. Blige on. Put that bamma out and cry your eyes out in your walk-in closet!

I wonder if Momma Dee’s gonna come after Shay now for putting her “prince” out of her house. Y’all know how Momma Dee gets about people abandoning her baby boy and things.

Chris Brown Fired DJ Babey Drew Because He’d Rather Be a Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Star?

DJ Baby Drew might be out of a job. Word over at Baller Alert is that the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star was fired by Chris Brown as his DJ. Why? Well, someone wanted to be famous more than they wanted to be a DJ. Call it the Diddy complex.

The site reports:

“Not only has Drew lost his $50,000 sneaker store investment but he’s also lost his primary source of income. Rumor has it that Chris Brown has fired his longtime tour DJ. It is said that DJ Baby Drew wanted to be a celebrity more than he wanted to be a DJ. Although Chris has had the same team for a very long time, he thought it was time to let him go.”

Based on the comments he’s made during the confessionals on the show, Drew is definitely loving that people know him as a reality star than just Chris Brown’s DJ. Unfortunately, many reality stars tend to forget that sort of fame can be fleeting. So for Drew’s sake, I hope that sneaker store happens, pops, and replaces the loss of income from this apparent firing.

If not, should Traci make it another season of the show, expect her to curse him smooth out every chance she gets. He’ll likely be getting cursed out while sitting in her bed, though.

mimi-steebie-talk

People love to lay much of the blame for the dysfunction in Mimi’s life at Stevie J’s feet, but what if the problem is really with Mimi?

This season, Mimi has gone from victim to villain. She started out barking and howling at Joseline for hanging around her daughter Eva and when she was done beefing with the Puerto Rican princess, she turned on her good friends Ariane and K. Michelle.

Why is this butch ballin’ battleax so damn mad at everybody? She’s supposedly moved on from Stevie and gotten herself a new man in Nikko. Shouldn’t she be in Happily Ever After land?

She should, but she ain’t. Mimi, it turns out, is a big fan of the miserable existence. She seeks it out.

So in a bid to totally FUBAR her relationship with Nikko, she starts to reconnect with Stevie J, her baby daddy.

Oh, Mimi tries to shove it under the guise of her needing to build a relationship with him for co-parenting, but what the hell does co-parenting have to do with inviting this man to her boyfriend’s music video premiere party?

MESSY.

ariane-grimace

Mimi’s friends Ariane and Erica Dixon call her dumb ass out on this tom foolery too and Mimi raises a glass to her chicken-headed bird brain.

nikko-pom-pom

Things inevitably get really awkward at Nikko’s little basement bash. For some reason, he’s wearing a snow cap that he’s customized with a craft store pom-pom on the top. He looks like Bobo the Fool but he’s walking around like his name was Kanye West and like he and Johnny Crome are about to make Billboard their bitch.

ny2-la-video

The small-ass little TVs used to premiere the video look pathetic, though that might’ve been a blessing in disguise since this “NY 2 LA” video is such a waste of life and breath.

Speaking of breath, when Stevie J walks in the room, he pretty much sucks ALL of the air out of the room as Nikko realizes that Stevie J has come to assert his alpha male dominance over his bitch, Mimi.

Stevie laughs at the so-bad-it’s-not-even-sad music video Nikko cobbled together and then he mocks the fake Rolex Nikko gave Mimi, saying that it ticks.

As a final deathblow to Nikko’s manhood and entire existence, Stevie J hands Mimi the keys to a brand-new white BMW and shits on Nikko publicly.

How the hell do you let your woman’s babdy daddy roll up in YOUR party and one-up you in front everybody while you set looking a fool with your pants on the ground?

Mimi, being the bird that she is, readily accepts Stevie’s gift too. Oh she asks if there any strings attached, but she already knows damn there will be.

mimi-bmw

Y’all, call the pastor and put on all-black. Cause there’s about to be a funeral for the so-called relationship of Mimi and Nikko very soon.

kmichelle-karlie

K. Michelle and Karlie Redd Make Up to Break Up

After a heart to heart with her record label A&R and public relations team, K. Michelle decides to go on a mending fences campaign. Since she damn sure still can’t stand the sight of Rasheeda’s sideburns, she starts with Karlie Redd.

The two ladies had beef in the previous season or relatively trivial things but things did get heated when Karlie decided to a shake a table on K. Michelle’s ass and things went haywire.

Karlie, if you’ll recall, has been on an anti-K. Michelle rant this whole season, even going as far as recording a diss record. But being the fake, kiss-ass that she is, she eagerly agrees to meet up with K and patch things up.

The two have a relatively productive lunch and Karlie confesses to K that she did record a diss track against her. Karlie claims she wanted to tell K before she heard it “from the street.” As if anybody with a functioning sense of hearing would purposefully play any of her wack-ass music. She cray?

kmichelle-birthday

Anyway, with things back on track between Karlie and K. Michelle, we later catch up with K. and her girls at the club celebrating her birthday. Karlie is in tow and all is well. Then Benzino shows up.

Apparently, Benzino must be one of the girls because he’s the only LHHA dude who shows up and he spends the rest of the night awkwardly hovering around the ladies. Stalker much?

To up the creep just a little bit more, Benzino gives K. Michelle an expensive diamond pendant necklace for her birthday like he’s her boo. Did these two even talk at all last season? This is random as hell. K. Michelle herself can hardly believe it as the first words out of her mouth when she opens the box is, “Is this real?”

As awkward as that exchange is, it doesn’t compare to Karlie Redd’s gift opening with K. Michelle. The first gift is a pack of weave, which will no doubt be very useful for K and her lace front collection. But things get funky when K. Michelle pulls out a burned CD. You might think it’s a custom mixtape that Karlie put together for her gal pal, but it’s actually her dumbass diss record.

Yes, this dumb dumb gifted her diss track to K. Michelle right after she kissed and made up with her. Who does that?

Before Karlie can inform K. Michelle of what’s on the disc, Ariane quickly runs it to the DJ Booth and before you know it, Karlie’s venom against K is spewing from the speakers.

When K catches a line about challenging the validity of her domestic abuse story with Memphitz, shit gets really real fast. Y’all know how K reacted to Rasheeda so K’s voice starts getting really loud and in a split second, drinks start flying and bitches start getting shoved.

It’s just another day in the life, y’all.

The good news is, K. Michelle later runs out to Karlie and tells her she’s not mad about what went down, but I don’t really believe her. Karlie accepts the olive branch though because she’d rather be fake with K. Michelle than risk getting punched in the face. Smart girl.

Kirk Gets His Ass Handed to Him by His Mother-in-Law

rasheedasmom-mad

Hell hath no fury like a mother-in-law scorned. Kirk Frost learned this salient truth the hard way when Rasheeda’s mother, Shirlene, unleashed the dragon on his dumbass after she heard the lowdown on the way he’d been treating her daughter Rasheeda.

Supposedly, Shirlene and Kirk have been close in the past, so when Kirk pulls up to Shirlene’s shop for a one-on-one conversation, he probably wasn’t expecting to get verbally assaulted and physically threatened by a 50-plus-year-old woman.

But there Mama Shirlene was right up in his face telling him he was a bitch and a coward for not supporting Rasheeda in her pregnancy and for asking for a damn paternity. Truth.

But Kirk, whose brain seems to have been taken over by aliens from Stupidanus, acts deaf and dumb to her complaints and tries to justify his behavior by saying his mother-in-law doesn’t know who Rasheeda’s been with. Sir, really?

rasheedas-mom-yells-kirk

Mama Shirlene doesn’t play that and when she starts to get rowdy with Kirk, he smartly rolls out. But Shirlene lets him have it in the parking lot too and threatens to kick his car.

Forget Momma Dee, we need way more of Mama Shirlene on LHHA.

nikko-mimi-kandi

After Mimi blasted Nikko for his wack music video and his diamond-less (and allegedly fake) Rolex, you’d think Nikko and Mimi were caput. But you thought wrong.

In episode 9 of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”, Mimi and Nikko’s relationship was on the brink as the two clashed over Nikko’s cheap gift, his hilariously awful music video and his controlling language.

But things must be okey dokey between them because Nikko and Mimi showed up to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss’ Internet talk show Kandi Koated Nights to talk about their sex life.

Either Nikko is a glutton for punishment or he’s just really desperate to remain attached to the spotlight that being Mimi’s boy toy affords him. Because if my woman went on national television and labeled me a chump and accepted a BMW from her baby daddy while he threw shade at me at my event, there ain’t no way we’d be able to pick up where we left off.

But Nikko is apparently a more forgiving man than I am. He realizes that he got played too, as he admitted recently on Twitter:

The actual interview from Kandi Koated Nights was quite revealing:

  • Mimi invited Nikko to appear with her on the show and Nikko sees nothing wrong with “being an opportunist”
  • Mimi says sex with Nikko is “fabulous” and she’s a spitter not a swallower
  • Nikko denies that the Rolex he bought Mimi was fake, but admits it was used
