HILARIOUS: K.Michelle Serenades Joseline at the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Season 2 Reunion

In honor of the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Season 2 reunion, R&B songbird K. Michelle — who is leaving the show after this season — has left her VH1 co-stars with a very special gift: the gift of song.

In a series of videos that will only be released online, K. Michelle serenades each one of her cast mates (“some are nice, and some are not,” VH1 said) and the first one shows K. crooning about her new friend Joseline.

The lyrics go a little something like this:

I won’t be in the club, no more / Ain’t sliding down no pole, no more / I’m the Puerto Rican princess, but Steebie say I own you though, I own you

… I’m a star now, star now, but Steebie say I own you though, I own you

She be like, Do you love me Steebie? Do you love me Steebie? Do you love me Steebie? / I own you though, I own you

HILARIOUS! And Joseline thought so too. “This was amazing!” she said, “Thank you K. Michelle, I really appreciate that, and you know damn well I am the star and I’m not going back to the strip club anymore.”

VH1 says K. Michelle did songs for Momma Dee, Mimi (uh-oh) and even Benzino too, and yes, there were lyrics about his neck (lack thereof)

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: K. Michelle Sings a Love Song to Benzino Making Fun of His “No Neck”

K. Michelle wrote a series of songs for her “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” castmates and VH1 is showing their reactions to the performances, one-by-one, in a series of clips they’re releasing online in honor of the two-part reunion special.

Earlier, we showed you when she serenaded Joseline, singing about her being the Puerto Rican Princess and not going back to the strip club, even though “Steebie” says he owns her, and Joseline loved it.

And now, K. Michelle has a “love letter” to Benzino, in which she sings about him having no neck:

It went away, right with his face / Thanks for the chase, but we can’t have a date / Until you find your neck, have you seen it? / No neck, have you seen it? Where’s your neck? Have you seen it? / My love letter, to you.

Find out Benzino’s reaction to this equally hilarious song when you watch the clip below:

Whose ego will walk away the victor when Stevie J and Nikko meet once again during the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” reunion?

Mimi’s two teddy bears pulled out their magic sticks and rattled their sabers during a heated exchange in part 2 of the LHHA reunion. In the back of Stevie’s pea brain, he believes that if he takes her new man down a notch or two, that he’ll somehow, in some small way, earn his way back into her heart.

What Stevie fails to realize is that Mimi is an ice cold bitch who makes Mr. Freeze look like the Easter Bunny. Besides, she ain’t never goin’ back to Stevei’s beefcake as long as Joseline is still sniffin’ around. At least, not while the cameras are on.

Besides the Joseline/Stevie, everyone gets a little teary eyed when Mona officially announces K. Michelle’s decision to leave Atlanta and move to New York. But guess what? She’ll be joining the cast of “Love & Hip Hop” (New York), which means she gets to bump heads with ANOTHER Rashidah. Can NY handle the heat that K’s bringing?

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Reunion Recap (Part 2): Stevie J Makes It Rain on Nikko

stevie-nikko-money

Stevie J might have deep, undying love for his one and only Joseline Hernandez, but he’ll always have a soft spot for his baby mama Mimi. Even if it does irritate the heck out of her new boyfriends.

Nikko has been dubbed everything from a cheapskate to a knockoff Stevie J. And after Mimi basically went behind his back and sniggled with her ex about the (allegedly) fake Rolex he bought her, I thought it was safe to say that Nikko got knocked out of the game for good.

But nope, he’s back for more. Mona Scott-Young invited Nikko onstage for a brief reunion with Mimi and her baby daddy Stevie J. He reiterated that the Rolex was real (we don’t believe you, you need more people) and when Stevie asked him where he was bread was at, Nikko stood up and pulled out a wad of Monopoly money and said it was his Thursday money.

Then, in an epic finishing move, Stevie J made it rain all over Nikko’s hideously bald head.

stevie-j-money-rain

I believe this was the perfect example of “shittin’ on ‘em,” as Nicki Minaj would say.

stevie-cheese

Well played, Sleaze-o.

After Stevie got done toying with him, Ariane took a few nibbles at Nikko too, calling him an opportunist and inauthentic. He copped to being an opportunist and Mimi seemed completely unbothered by the admission. I guess the lovin’ is worth the headaches.

Rasheeda and Kirk Are Barely Friends, Definitely Not Partners

rasheeda-mad

If you thought that the fight between Kirk and Rasheeda was just for play-play, they’ll have you know that their split is very much real. Mona confronted the couple with this accusation and Rasheeda was quick to point out that she would she never put her kids through such a traumatic, messy situation like this if it weren’t real.

Plus, she’s pregnant. There’s no way she wanted to bring new life into the world under these circumstances.

But Kirk, who claims he was neglected and suffering an identity crisis, threw it all away for a wild night out in the woods. Kirk repeatedly says he’s sorry for his actions but he doesn’t look like a man with any regrets and that alone is perhaps why Rasheeda is so unwilling to forgive.

When Mona asked Rasheeda and Kirk the status of their relationship, Rasheeda cooly labeled them as having a “lightweight friendship.” Damn, homie.

Lies, Sex and Benzino

benzino-reunion

After busting up Kirk and Rasheeda’s marriage, burning bridges with Stevie J and Joseline and booting Karlie Redd out of his bed more than once, Benzino is hanging on to his position as an LHHA castmate by a thread.

This season, he really put his foot in it in several ways. First off, he put it out there that his best friend’s girl, Joseline, had sex with him. Then he tried to take it back once it spread like wildfire, then he doubled back and decided to make a song and video about Joseline smashing da homie (aka him) with a Joseline look-a-like in the video.

And Karlie Redd is the one that they call messy?

Benzino is lucky that Stevie J essentially let the whole video/diss song thing roll right off of his back. Maybe it’s because he owes Benzino a solid or something. Cause old Stevie would’ve jumped on Zino and stomped him into the mud.

In all fairness, Benzino WAS rather apologetic during the reunion. He said he was sorry for the diss track and video and he took responsibility for leading Kirk astray on that wild night in the cabin.

While that’s nice and all, nobody should ever trust a man with no neck.

K. Michelle Wishes Tearful Good-Bye to Atlanta Cast

kmichelle-tears

The rumors are true: K. Michelle is leaving “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”. But have no fear, her heart is still in reality TV. The Big Booty Judy herself will simply head over to the NY cast of the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise. She’ll get to hang with Tahiry, Joe Budden and the gang.

But before she left ATL, she performed a showstopping rendition of her hit single “V.S.O.P.” and tearfully wished her castmates and fans good-bye. She thanked them for putting with her “big mouth.”

While K. might miss the ATL crew, something tells me the gang is gonna breathe a little easier without K. Michelle around to stir the pot or shake the table.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: Drunk Momma Dee Disses Erica Dixon, Calls Her a “Grass-Eating Wildabeast”

A very intoxicated Momma Dee was spotted outside of K. Michelle‘s ‘Rebellious Soul’ album listening party at Frank Ski’s in Atlanta over weekend. After being prompted about her son’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of her granddaughter, Erica Dixon, she proceeded to brand her a “trude ugly, non-sissy bitch and no loving bitch.” Whatever that means.

And for the umpteenth time, Momma Dee tried to boast of the so-called “chemistry” Scrappy and Shay Johnson have.

Listen, Momma Dee, Scrappy only wants her for one thing and marriage ain’t it. Did he not just say on the reunion that he’d rather make it work with Erica? He doesn’t care about Shay. If you love Shay so much, why don’t you date her? I mean, based on that trick you did with your tongue, that might be your sort of speed anyway.

WATCH HERE:

I have no idea what Momma Dee is talking about as far as “wildabeasts” and “cutting/eating grass” goes, but I blocked it out and went back to the first season where Erica would have to ask Momma Dee if she took her meds. The answer is still no. Clearly.

P.S. Scrappy: You aren’t worth a damn for letting your mom get on camera and bash the mother of your child like that.

K. Michelle Clarifies That She Got a Butt Lift, Not Butt Injections

K. Michelle has been known for two things: Her big mouth and her big butt. While no one’s doubted the authenticity of her talk, many have speculated on her centaur-sized rump.

During an interview with Power 105.1′s Breakfast Club, K. Michelle came clean and admitted that she had a butt lift. But she fervently denied having any butt injections. Because, duh, that would make her look like a big flaming hypocrite for going after Karlie Redd’s liquid, saggy gluteus maximus.

“It’s just a lift, no injections in your butt cheeks,” K. Michelle said. “They just lift the booty. They lift it and they take your fat out your stomach, you automatically look — and then I been moving around, losing weight and I guess that’s why it just looks even bigger.”

kmichelle-big-butt

I’ve never heard of a butt lift before in my life, but something tells me K. Michelle ain’t telling the whole truth about her adventures under the knife. It’s ok though. If the truth doesn’t come out, the silicone will eventually.

On the list of things you never want to see in your life, Benzino naked is probably up there among other things like “seeing your parents have sex” and “watching killer ants eat a toddler alive.” Unfortunately, someone has forced us all to see Mr. No-Neck’s frank and beans.

Benzino likes to act like he’s some kind of Lothario. A man that no woman can resist. But in reality, he’s a chicken-nugget shaped, high yellow, oversized dwarf. Which basically means he’s really on nobody’s “Sexiest Man Alive” list. But in his own mind, he’s killing the game.

After Benzino absorbs the response from everyone on the Internet though, he’ll finally know that his wang is nobody’s kang.

Baller Alert got its hands on a nude selfie (You know Karlie Redd’s messy ass probably emailed it in) and published the “goods” for the world to see. (SIDEBAR: We ain’t posting that nasty isht uncensored here, so you better find out where you should click in this post!)

Benzino’s side of the story is that he “lost his phone” and someone posted the pics.

Benzino is so thirsty that I wouldn’t put it past him to be the source behind this whole naked picture leak. But hey, that’s me.

For his part, Benzino vows never to take nude bathroom selfies again.

Amen. The world is now a safer place.

When a man loves a woman, does it mean he has to give up his mother? Momma Dee is finding out as she puts her son Lil’ Scrappy in between a rock and a hard place with her attempts to split him and Erica up.

It’s no secret that Momma Dee is not the biggest fan of Erica Dixon, her son’s fiancee and babymama. Momma Dee hates Erica so much that she went and picked up her son’s sideline hoe and dropped her off at the studio where he was recording just to see what would happen.

But Scrappy is serious about making things work so he tries to bring his mom and Erica’s mom together for a family gathering. Unfortunately, fists, not love, end up flying in the air.

Speaking of flying objects, K. Michelle pops off at the beginning of the episode by lobbing a lit candle at her nemesis Rasheeda. The Basketball Wives franchise may have given up on violence in its shows, but LHHA definitely made no such promises.

Lil’ Scrappy is Definitely Coming Back to “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”

With the news of Lil’ Scrappy getting into a brawl at a gas station and word that Waka Flocka Flame might be joining the cast of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”, people were buzzing that Lil’ Scrappy may have been given the boot by Mona Scott-Young.

Those people, it turns out, were dead wrong. While it’s unclear whether Waka will join the show or not, it is clear that Lil’ Scrappy will be back for the next season of LHHATL.

Scrappy visited a Dallas hip hop station and cleared the air on his future role with the VH1 reality show.

“Your boy finna be on TV again, I don’t know why they put bad rumors like I ain’t gon’ be out there no more,” Scrappy said.

WATCH SCRAPPY’S INTERVIEW BELOW:

So have no fear, Scrappy fans, the Prince of the South will still be in the building. Can you imagine what LHHATL would be like without Scrap and Momma Dee? I can’t.

On whether Waka is joining the cast, Scrappy played nice and stuck to a vague non-response:

“I don’t know if Waka’s gonna be on there or not. But we will see,” he said.

Don’t get too excited about Waka or Aunt Deb joining the show. Many of the blogs were so sure that Soulja Boy and Diamond were going to join LHHA last season and then, poof. Nothing.

So until we actually see those dusty dreads dangling on VH1, don’t hold your breath.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Rasheeda Updates Us on Her Status with Kirk Frost and K. Michelle

In an interview with Mara The Hip Hop Socialite, Rasheeda gave us an update on her husband Kirk Frost, what their relationship is at this point and what she makes of rumors that the two made up their on-air conflict to stay on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.

ON HOW KIRK HAS TAKEN TO BEING A FATHER AGAIN DESPITE HIS INITIAL REACTION TO HER PREGNANCY:

“He’s actually just amazing to be honest with you. He’s just been a great father, he’s been, you know, allowing me to get my rest as much as possible, and regardless to the fact that you can’t get past the crying that you hear from the baby, but he’s been really, really great. You know he’s always been a good father regardless of how it looked on television as far as the things he said about ‘I’m tired of raising kids,’ and whatnot, you know. He has four adult children, you know. Over 18 [years old] kids that he was more so speaking about, but as far as him in Karter’s life, he’s just been 100% just doing his damn thing.”

ON IF SHE AND KIRK ARE IN A BETTER PLACE IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP:

“I mean you just take it one day at a time, and the main thing is just being parents number one, and then just continuing to grow our friendship, and to try to get back in a place. But you just don’t rush things, you just take one day at a time and just keep it moving.”

ON RUMORS THAT SHE AND KIRK FAKED THEIR RELATIONSHIP ISSUES BECAUSE THEY WERE IN DANGER OF BEING FIRED AFTER SEASON ONE:

“Well, first of all, the chopping block situation, we didn’t know anything about that. Every thing was every thing. We came back season 2 so we wouldn’t be on the chopping block. And, like I said, everybody has problems; ain’t nobody perfect. I got pregnant, and Kirk wasn’t happy about it. The sh*t was the real deal. He felt like he felt, and went and did what he did, and that’s him. It wasn’t no ficitious sh*t.

“I mean, people go through stuff, and the killer part that really be bugging me out is, the reason why people could relate so much is a lot of us been through that type of situation. The things that were going on with me and Kirk…you know what, if you’re on reality TV, and you’re going through some sh*t, then you’re going through it, and that’s what it is, and people can weigh in and say they feel like this and they feel like that, they can say what they want to say, but we have real issues.

“We have other sh*t that goes on in our relationship that people may not have seen just for the simple fact that it’s too many damn people on the show, and you don’t have all that camera time to speak to everybody. At the end of the day, we’re real people with real issues, with real problems, and the difference is it played out on TV with cameras in front of us, straight up and down.

“You know what, people have to weigh in, they saying what they saying. A lot of people feeling like this and feeling like that, but at the end of the day, a lot of people could relate because it was some real sh*t, and a lot of times a lot of people done been through the situation.

“No it ain’t no fake made up sh*t – who want to make up some sh*t like that? Who wants to go through that as a person? You know what I’m saying? But it’s life, and it is what it is. You play the cards that you dealt with, and you move forward. And in a relationship, it can either mess up a relationship and tear you apart, or it’ll make you stronger, end of story. And I’ve seen people go through way worse sh*t than what me and Kirk been going through.”

As far as K. Michelle goes, no, the two don’t speak regularly, but she’s let bygones be bygones. Check out the interview in full here.

Benzino Set to Get His Own Reality TV Spinoff, “Sucker For Love”

Do you miss the faux-love focused reality shows like Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, and I Love New York? Your answer doesn’t matter because one is coming back either way.

Naturally, it will star Benzino, the lovelorn supporting character on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Yes, Karlie Redd’s sorta boo thang took to Instagram to announce casting for the reality series.

It could possibly just be nothing more than a pilot, but I doubt that. You all have seen how ridiculous Benzino is. This show will get a series order and become another nugget of reality TV gold. It’ll also be trash, highly dramatized, and well…everything we’re used to seeing in the format that built the nouveau VH1 we know today.

My initial instinct was to slam the idea, but who am I kidding? I’ll be watching Benzino: Sucker For Love for at least four regular episodes, the season finale and the reunion. I will say, though, I wouldn’t mind a dating show starring Mimi or K. Michelle. K’s too busy having real success as a recording artist to do it, but you know, Mimi would be pretty damn good at it herself.

Now when are we going to get that southern rap remix of I Love Lucy starring Joseline Hernandez and Stevie J?

Peter Gunz is the Stevie J of “Love & Hip Hop” New York

$
0
0

The fourth season of “Love & Hip Hop” New York premiered on VH1 last night, and those of us who stan for the (much more interesting) “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” immediately noticed something familiar about Peter Gunz and his harem of women.

You may remember Peter Gunz from the previous season of LHHNY when he advised Rich Dollaz on mixing business with pleasure when it came to his relationship with Erica Mena, and now that Gunz is an official cast member on the show, it seems like he’s thrown his own advice out the window.

Not only is the rapper turned music exec, known as one-half of the Hip Hop duo Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz, messing around with his artist Amina Buddafly (going against everything he told Rich last season), but he also has a longtime girlfriend (Tara Wallace) at home raising the two children they have together.

If that storyline sounds familiar to you at all, it’s because the first season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” basically centered around the love triangle involving Stevie J, his baby mama Mimi Faust and his new girlfriend/artist Joseline Hernandez.

So, in essence, Peter Gunz is Stevie J, Tara is Mimi and Amina is Joseline; and it doesn’t seem to be a coincidence either because everyone on Twitter noticed it too:

“My heart is torn between these two amazing women,” Peter Gunz can be heard saying in the show’s fourth season opener.

And while Amina knows that she’s the “other woman,” she still wants Peter to be hers and hers alone.

The chick even has “Mrs. Pankey” (Gunz’ real last name) tattooed on the side of her damn stomach! How crazy is that?

Almost as crazy as this statement she made on Monday night’s episode:

“We’ve been together for a year now… I just want him around more, I want him with me, is that too much for a girl to ask for?”

Well, seeing as how you’re “Mrs. Pankey” now and all … guess not.

Meanwhile, this is probably what Stevie J was thinking while he was watching the show:

Stevie J Says Denzel Washington Is a Huge “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Fan

File this under fun facts you might not have known about Denzel Washington: Apparently, he’s a huge fan of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

I mean, the show is one of my favorites things in life too, so I see the appeal. Still, that show doesn’t scream “Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington would love this!”

But what do I know? According to Stevie J, Denzel is so into the show that he calls him regularly to talk about it. Not only that, but he’s giving the Puerto Rican Princess, Joseline Hernandez, baby, tips on how to break into acting.

Something in the milk isn’t clean, but this is hilarious as hell all the same.

Via VH1.com:

We wanted to know if any of his celebrity friends admitted to watching Love And Hip Hop Atlanta, and he ran through a laundry list of stars who love it. “Yes. Snoop. Diddy. Judge Mathis. Denzel Washington,” he told us. Denzel? Really? We asked him if Denzel ever tweets him, and Stevie told us no, Denzel is more the type to pick up the phone.

“He calls to talk about it,” Stevie explained. “One time I asked him to call Joseline just to shake her up a little bit. She couldn’t believe it. They talked for an hour and a half. She wants to be in movies so they talked about the movie business and how long he’s been in the game. He gave her some pointers and tips.” Denzel Washington has given Joseline acting tips. Apologies for not having a follow-up question, our mouth was hanging open too far to get words out.

Now, Stevie isn’t exactly the most honest person and we all know he is in love with hyperbole and delusional behavior, so take this with a huge grain of salt. How big? About as big as the silicone boulders that that backdoor Mexican plastic surgeon shoved inside Karlie Redd’s ass a few years ago.

Fight Breaks Out During “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Taping: Karlie Redd Knocked Out, Momma Dee Takes Bottle to the Face!

A massive brawl broke out Wednesday night during the filming of VH1′s most popular reality series “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” that left many of the show’s stars “bloodied and injured,” according to TMZ.

“LHHATL” stars Stevie J and Benzino were hosting the grand opening of their new Atlanta bistro and bar “Sleezy & Zino’s” Wednesday night (Feb 5) when the fight broke out.

Via TMZ:

Sources close to the show tell us … the trouble began when Joseline Hernandez walked in with a girlfriend. We’re told the friend instigated an argument … and pretty soon fists were flying.

Karlie Redd was knocked out … several others suffered bloody cuts … and somebody threw a bottle at Momma Dee, hitting her in the face.

Of course VH1 cameras were there and rolling, so expect to see this play out during the third season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” which doesn’t have a set premiere date just yet, but since they’re already filming it can’t be too far away!

Until then, however, all we have is this blurry, shaky, video footage of the fight someone sent to TMZ:

Get ready, get ready, get motherf*ckin ready!!!

Now that “Love & Hip Hop” New York has ended its run, it’s time for the Atlanta crew to come back and show everyone how to do this reality show thing!

During the closing of the second part of the “LHHNY” Season 4 reunion special, which aired tonight, host Mo’nique announced that our favorite ATLiens will be returning to your TV screens and occupying your Monday nights for their third season by SPRING 2014!!!

Also, a VH1 press release from January 2014 mentions a May 2014 premiere date for LHHATL Season 3.

Now, for one, we found it extremely odd (but not totally surpring) that K. Michelle was not mentioned (not even ONCE) during the two-part LHHNY S4 reunion, which leads us to believe that she’s been quietly axed from the show, and could possibly be returning to her southern roots.

Because let’s be honest … K’s stint on Love & Hip Hop New York put the BORING in boring. We love K. Michelle, but she is just not interesting in New York. She needs to go back to Atlanta, where she belongs and draws attention to herself in that way that we love and appreciate (and miss!)

So hopefully, she’ll be either flying back and forth to Hotlanta to shoot scenes for LHHATL, or she’ll just be “moving” back to Atlanta. Whatever works.

Fight Breaks Out During “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Taping: Karlie Redd Knocked Out, Momma Dee Takes Bottle to the Face!

Anyhow … K. Michelle or not, SPRING 2014 CAN’T GET HERE ANY FASTER! Especially with those reports of that all-out brawl that broke out last week during filming while the cast was shooting scenes in Stevie J and Benzino’s new restaurant. We hear Karlie Redd got knocked and everything. CLICK HERE if you missed that!

Are you looking forward to LHHATL Season 3?

Yung Joc Joins “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” Season 3 As Karlie Redd’s Boyfriend

“It’s going down!”

Atlanta rapper Yung Joc recently announced that he will be joining the cast of VH1′s hit reality show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” next season, and to make things even more interesting, he’ll be starring alongside his “GIRLFRIEND” Karlie Redd!

Joc made a trip to BET’s “106 & Park” to do a throwback performance of his hit song “It’s Going Down,” and while there, he confirmed that he will be appearing on LHHATL with his “girl” Karlie and we just “gotta watch.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, yes I am on Season 3 of Love & Hip Hop [Atlanta], my girl is Karlie Redd, so you know, y’all just gotta watch,” Yung Joc shared on the music countdown show.

When 106 host Bow Wow asked Yung if he was going to be involved in any of the show’s infamous fights and conflicts (like the huge brawl this past February), Yung simply replied, “Ya’ll just gon’ have to watch,” adding, “it kinda shows you what goes on in regular life, you know, not celebrity life… It’s going to be really interesting to see how I handle everyday situations because I’m a little a little ‘throw it off’ at times and the world don’t really see that on me, so they will when they tune in.”

[Wetpaint]

We don’t know how Karlie Redd continues to maintain her relevancy enough to hold on to her highly coveted spot on LHHATL, but she continues to do it every season, and for that, we salute you Karlie, even if you still lie about your age.

As for Yung Joc, the soon-to-be 31-year-old spoke to Bossip and talked about how much he loves Karlie and how they are the real deal.

“The best thing about Karlie Redd is I like the fact that she’s a little throwed off and will jump off a building for me,” he noted.

Joc also explained why he decided to appear on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” alongside that crazy Karlie Redd woman:

“By joining season 3 of Love & Hip Hop it allows people to see how Joc would handle some every day sh!t….Just because you’re on a reality show doesn’t mean it’s the best fit for you.

“Just because cameras are on her (Karlie Redd) — as an actress, she’s a great actress I’ll give her that hands down — but when cameras are on you and you’re forced to handle a decision that could be detrimental to how people view you, I don’t know if she’s the best candidate for handling that in front of a camera sometimes because I’ve seen her handle situations off the camera more professional.

“That’s why I had to have these meetings because people were like, ‘You don’t want to go in there and your girl start trippin’ on you, how you gone handle it?’ so when we started having real-life situations I was like this ain’t how you handle it on TV and that made it a lot easier to say, ‘I’ll accept the challenge of joining Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta Season 3.”

Atlanta blogger/photographer FreddyO snapped a few photos of Joc and Karlie holding hands and kissing at an ATL nightclub (or restaurant?) last September.

Check ‘em out below, and look out for the couple when they appear on the third season of VH1′s ”Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” which premieres in May 2014.

According to TMZ, Scrappy put a down payment for a small two-and-a-half hour party at a little girls’ salon located just outside Atlanta for Emani’s 9th birthday to be held on Sunday (Mar 30).

However, when Scrappy, his baby mama Erica Dixon and their daughter arrived roughly 20 minutes late, they were not allowed to come inside the building … not because of their tardiness, but because of who they were.

Scrappy claims the owners of the salon told him specifically, “we don’t serve you people.” (WHAT?!?)

Cops were eventually called to the scene because Scrappy and Erica — who both star on the hit VH1 reality show “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” — wouldn’t leave without a refund. Cops were able to get Scrappy half his refund and the salon agreed to send him the rest in the mail.

As for Emani, her feelings were crushed and her birthday was ruined, leaving her in tears.

This is ridiculous! You would think by now people would let all this racist bullsh*t go.

We guess times haven’t changed much after all … it’s just sad because a child was involved and she definitely didn’t deserve that type of treatment, ESPECIALLY on her birthday. SMH!!

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Benzino is recovering at a hospital in Massachusetts after being shot by his own nephew en route to his mother’s funeral over the weekend, and Zino says he has absolutely no idea why his nephew shot him.

According to the Boston Globe, on Saturday (Mar 29) the Hip Hop media executive (who co-founded The Source magazine and now owns Hip Hop Weekly) was on his way to his mother’s funeral in Duxbury, MA, a suburb outside of Boston, when he got into an argument with family members right in the middle of the funeral procession.

Benzino (real name: Raymond Scott) was reportedly shot in the shoulder by his nephew Gai Scott and the 48-year-old was immediately rushed to the hospital to South Shore Hospital with a non-fatal wound.

“There has been growing family tension between Raymond Scott and Gai Scott,” said the statement from the district attorney’s office. According to the priest at the Plymouth church where the procession was heading, the funeral was for Mary Scott of Dorchester, who is listed as Raymond Scott’s mother in her obituary.

Just before noon, as Gai Scott and Raymond Scott were traveling side by side in the funeral procession on Route?3 near Exit 10, Gai Scott allegedly fired several shots from his Bentley into the red Dodge SUV Raymond Scott was driving, according to the statement.

Raymond Scott got out of his car and was driven by a passerby to the Duxbury police department. He was then taken to South Shore Hospital, where he was in stable condition, according to Duxbury Fire Captain John Guilderson.

Gai was arrested and later charged with assault with intent to murder.

Believe it or not, the funeral service for Benzino’s mother Mary Scott went on as scheduled, and the preacher said when the procession arrived, one of the limos and the hearse were both stained with blood.

“It was a 12 o’clock funeral… They were a little late,” said the Rev. William Williams of St. Peter’s Church. “The funeral went on.”

When the funeral procession arrived at the church, said Williams, he looked out the door to see the hearse and a limousine both smudged with blood. “They were pretty upset about the death, and this made the sadness even sadder,” he said.

While Benzino has been recovering in the hospital, he’s been keeping fans updated through Instagram, where several photos have been posted, including the above selfie via Stevie J’s page.

“Feel much better, GOD IS REAL @luvheraltheaheart is my SOULMATE……. MY MOTHER TOUCHED ME, IM CERTAIN,” Zino wrote in the caption of one of the photos.

“If it wasn’t for these beautiful women driving me to the hospital I wouldn’t have made it, thank you auntie GENEVA , Jannine , Rita!!! I LOVE YALL!!!!” he captioned this photo of him posing with his aunties.

Here are a couple photos of Benzino and his kids:

In an interview with TMZ Live on Monday (Mar 31), Benzino said he didn’t know why his nephew shot him, but he did hint that there’s some bad blood between them (they haven’t spoken to one another in YEARS).

Zino said he remembers at least 7-8 shots being fired, and he was hit twice. He sustained a gunshot wound to the arm, and another bullet grazed his back.

Gai Scott said in court Monday that he was acting in self-defense when he opened fire on his uncle.

Last Summer’s #1 Basic Cable Series Among Adults + Women 18 – 49 Returns With Rappers Yung Joc + Waka Flocka Flame Joining the Season 3 Roster

New York, NY – April 14, 2014 – It’s ‘southern hospitality’ VH1-style when the network’s top rated “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 3 premieres Monday, May 5 at 8 PM ET/ PT. The much buzzed-about series again delivers its signature brand of drama, music, temptation and love, with a few new faces added to the mix. Hit rappers Yung Joc and Waka Flocka Flame, along with Diddy-Dirty Money’s Kalenna Harper, will join fan favorites Joseline, Stevie J., Mimi, Lil Scrappy, Erica, Karlie, Benzino,Rasheeda and Kirk for another explosive look into the world of Atlanta’s entertainment elite.

Here’s what’s going down in the “A:”

- Stevie J. and Joseline Hernandez are living in wedded bliss – a pill that many in Atlanta find hard to swallow. Though Joseline couldn’t care less about the opinions of her ‘haters,’ will this feisty starlet be able prove naysayers wrong with an extravagant (and public) ceremony worthy of her title as the “Puerto Rican Princess?”

- Mimi Faust is dealing with a scandal of her own when a sex tape “mysteriously” leaks starring her and boyfriend Nikko – a man her closest confidants don’t trust. Although she stands to gain notoriety and fortune, the mother of one must determine if the reward outweighs the repercussions that could potentially destroy her friendships and family.

- Over in the “palace,” Lil Scrappy is dealing with life after rehab. Post-Erica, Scrappy has gotten close with rapper Bambi, but true to form, he’s still out playing the field and Momma Dee has no issues playing referee.

- Erica Dixon has left the drama of her on-again/off-again romance with Scrappy behind and is instead focusing on new endeavors, her up-and-coming fashion line and the possibility of finding love again.

- The rollercoaster that is Kirk and Rasheeda’s marriage continues to spin out of control as the family’s newest addition, Karter, raises questions that threaten the peace and harmony of their household.

- Meanwhile, Benzino has abandoned the hot tubs and numerous vixens now that he’s found his match in fiancée Althea, a woman whose past may threaten their future together.

- Karlie Redd no longer mourns her breakup with Benzino and has moved on with Yung Joc (“It’s Goin’ Down”), a hit maker who just might have the connections she needs to finally break into the music industry. But will jealousy between the two destroy the beautiful music they make together?

- Newcomers Waka Flocka Flame (“No Hands”) and fiancé Tammy Rivera have been through a series of ups and downs over the course of their three year courtship, but now the time is right for the pair to take the next step together while still pursuing their own personal endeavors.

- This season will also introduce singer/songwriter Kalenna Harper, one-third of Diddy-Dirty Money, who has moved to Atlanta with husband Tony aka “T.Vick” in a last attempt to re-launch her solo career.

Now in its third season, the series continues to give fans an unfiltered look into the lives of those aspiring to make a name for themselves in ATL – whatever it takes.

With new players entering the game, the stakes are higher than ever before. Who will emerge victorious? Find out Monday, May 5 at 8 PM ET/PT when “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” comes B-A-C-K (and in that order) to heat up the airwaves on VH1.
